Dr. Ernest Sekunna began frequenting metaphysical and psychic development circles in the village of Cassadaga, Florida during the mid-1960s, often with his young son Matthew tagging along. By 1970, he and a small group of like-minded sensitives began operating the Universal Centre of Cassadaga and the Universal Church of Spiritual Sciences. In this small building next to the site of the old Cassadaga Men’s Club meeting house, whose steps and foundation wall may still be seen around our picnic area, Dr. Sekunna and his friends dedicated themselves to the exploration of many of the psychic sciences.

One of the founding fathers of the Universal Centre of Cassadaga is Dr. Ernest M. Sekunna. In 1974, he originated the Universal Centre with a small band of other Sensitives. He realized an organization did not exist that would explore the various truths that all of us encounter as we search for our own truth.
This is why there is such a wide variety of disciplines represented and available for you at the Universal Centre. Spiritual counseling and readings have always been, and still remain, an integral part of the Universal Centre. Since the beginning, Dr. Sekunna has sought out the most capable psychics from around the country. Being famous has never been a prerequisite; however; accuracy, professionalism and having a high standard of ethics are! Today, Matthew Sekunna carries on his father's tradition of excellence.

Matthew, an internationally known Psychic and Palmist began to develop his abilities at the age of 10. His training started in Psychic Development Circles and Séances with his father, Dr. Ernest Sekunna.
He has been invited to lecture and give readings throughout the U. S. and Europe.
His clients read like Who's Who and include CEOs, celebrities, royalty, diplomats, politicians and people from virtually every walk of life.
Matthew believes that we all have free will and his job is to point out the opportunities coming your way. It's up to you what you do with the information.

The town of Cassadaga started from the founding of the Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting Association. The Camp was founded by a very talented trance medium George P. Colby from Pike, New York. His spirit guide, Seneca, instructed him to establish a Spiritualist community in the south.
The location was chosen for its unique energy level. The word Cassadaga is a term used by the Seneca Indians meaning, “Rocks beneath the water.”
The Camp was chartered on December 18, 1894, and as they say, the rest is history!!
Through the years, many psychics have enjoyed reading in Cassadaga due to the ethereal vibrations with Spirit and clients with utmost clarity. These special etheric vibrations emanate from the earth itself, sometimes called Ley Lines or energy Hot Spots.
Known as “The Psychic Center of the World”, Cassadaga continues today as the premiere psychic community and is home to some of America’s finest psychics.
